Integration guide for Certify The Web on Windows with the Networking4all ACME server
Certify Certificate Manager is a GUI solution for X.509 certificate management and procurement using ACME. In this section we will provide you with the steps needed to get it up and running with the Networking4all ACME server.
Adding a Certificate Authority
Open Certificate Authority settings
Navigate to Settings > Certificate Authorities and click on Edit Certificate Authorities.
Configure the ACME server
You will now be able to add the Networking4all ACME server details.
Use https://acme.networking4all.com/<PRODUCT> for the production API and https://test-acme.networking4all.com/<PRODUCT> for the staging API.
You can find the correct server URL through the ACME automation page.
Save the Certificate Authority.
Create a new ACME account
On the same screen, click on New Account. A new screen should pop up.
Under the Account Settings tab select the Networking4all server you just created, optionally fill in your email address, and select Yes, I agree.
Do not click on Register Contact yet.
Add External Account Binding
Under the Advanced tab fill in your External Account Binding details.
You need to use the credentials you created during this step.
If you want to use the test environment you should select Use Staging (Test) Mode and use the credentials you retrieved in the test environment.
You can create separate accounts for the production and test environment using the appropriate credentials.
In case you need multiple accounts on the same server you should create additional Certificate Authorities like we did in step 1 of this guide and give them unique names.
Register the account
Click on Register Contact.
You have now registered an ACME account on the Networking4all server and are ready to order your first certificate.
Order a certificate
Create a new certificate
In the top left of your screen click on New Certificate.
Under the Identifiers tab, fill in the domain(s) you need to order a certificate for.
Select the Certificate Authority and request
Under the Advanced tab go to Certificate Authority and select the Networking4all server you created before and then click on Request Certificate on the top right to start your order.
After a few seconds you should receive your certificate!
